I'm writing this review to share my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. It all started when I placed an order with GlassesUSA on February 24th, but weeks later, the glasses never arrived. GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't get a response for a refund all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. This frustrating situation compelled me to try and get help, but trying to resolve it felt like screaming into a void. I urgently needed my money back and some answers, which led me to countless failed attempts to contact their customer service.
Customer: I need to know what's happening with my order #105081183. It was placed on February 24th, I never received it, and you still haven't sent my refund. Your tracking says it's stuck in Atlanta, and all I get from your system is bot responses about it being "in transit." I want my $246 back! CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this situation has caused, especially regarding your refund and the lack of updates. I see here that order #105081183 is currently showing as in transit. I understand you haven't received it. Let me look into this more deeply for you. Customer: "In transit" isn't good enough. It's been weeks! I haven't received the product, and you're holding my money. I need a concrete answer and my refund processed immediately. I shouldn't have to chase you down for this. CS Rep: I completely understand your urgency and frustration. It's unacceptable that you haven't received your order or a clear resolution. While the system indicates transit, given the significant delay, I will initiate the refund process for your order right away. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. I will also follow up internally regarding the tracking discrepancy. Customer: 7-10 business days? After all this hassle, that's still too long! This whole experience has been a nightmare. Just ensure that refund actually comes through.
